Former Civil Division Assistant U.S. Attorney Joins Macht Shapiro

On January 11, 2010, Danna Drori joined Macht, Shapiro, Arato & Isserles LLP as Counsel.  Ms. Drori received her J.D. in 2000 from Yale Law School, where she was a Notes Editor of the Yale Law Journal.  In 1997 she received her master's degree with distinction in Women's Studies from Oxford University.  In 1995 she received her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from Yale University.  Ms. Drori served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York from 2002 to 2010, and, in her final year, as Deputy Chief of the Tax & Bankruptcy Unit.  She clerked for the Honorable Denise L. Cote of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
